Awwww yeahhhhh. Here’s a new little project from Macro, fully produced by KBI (Yeti also did the artwork) and mixed/mastered by the young prince Chase Windu. These are three theatrical songs that are just spooky enough for a Halloween release. Download for free below, or toss some change in the collection plate.
Hell yes! I don’t know what wolf tits are (assuming not this), and i’m def not a fan of hairy tits – but I did just jizz a little watching this. This is GMAD debut for the new supergroup @WOLF_TITS, comprised of the infamous Jakob Owens (video producer) and his partner in crime, Dave Cappa (who handles production on this song). Not only is this hysterical, but it’s actually great production and thoroughly entertaining. Nice to see JOP still having fun while he’s killing the game as a video producer. Enjoy.

This might just be the funniest episode yet in Tourings Boring. Mike Stud, DJ Fader, and company hit up the west coast in normal style, chugging beers on a plane, hitting on and scaring off some beautiful mom’s, blowing tires on the freeway, Kilmer getting love from the women, our boy Blue getting ass drunk, and everything in-between. These guys do an amazing job poking fun at themselves while still making all of us jealous. He’s got a couple dates left on tour (tickets here), but check back this Sunday for the next Tourings Boring. Here’s a little tweet from last night to get you pumped for next week
Slightly Stoopid almost never puts out a video for their music but it looks like the band decided to change that. With such a laid back and chill track like “Top of the World” this video goes perfectly with the song. Slightly Stoopid has been around since 1995 and likes to describe their sound as “a fusion of folk, rock, reggae and blues with hip-hop, funk, metal and punk”; so basically you gotta love these guys and the music they create. If you haven’t downloaded their most recent album make sure you do so at their website or on iTunes. Enjoy.
This is an extremely creative response to the rise of internet trolls, who spend hours on YouTube just to hate on every and any one and thus think of themselves as experts. In this video, SKisM sees Skrillex and the dark monster that was in the “First of the Year” music video, Zomboy and his zombies, what looks like dark version of Eptic‘s robot, and then Excision‘s T-Rexision before the final battle. Not usually a fan of just sitting and listening to dubstep, but this video was just overall entertaining. Enjoy.
**note that SKisM is not calling himself, Skrillex, or any other artist an expert – he is referring to the internet trolls as experts in a sarcastic way, saying “F*ck These Experts”
Futuristic is back with another one take video, and this time to MGK’s hit “Hold On (Shut Up).” In this one, he showcases his lyricism and ability to play with punchlines and rhyme schemes at the same time. Not quite up to the same level as the 2 Chainz, “Yuck,” one take - maybe a little bias due to the GMAD shout outs, but who cares - still a great display of authentic talent. Follow Futuristic on Twitter and go download the song for FREE at his website, OnlyFuturistic.com. enjoy.
Despite being busy touring and promoting good kid m.A.A.d city (in stores now), Kendrick Lamar tweeted that he and J. Cole hit the studio last night. I didn’t think anything would surface that quickly, but he followed it up with a new track titled ‘The Jig Is Up (Dump’n)’, produced by J. Cole and Canei Finch. Kendrick is currently sitting on top of the world. Enjoy.
We at GMAD got to have the pleasure of seeing Pretty Lights perform this past weekend in Nashville, TN at the With Your Friends Music Festival(photo above). At the show Derek performed this song and it was very appropriate given the coming halloween holiday. Video recap of the show coming soon. For now take a listen to this halloween influenced track and check out a 30 second clip from the show. Enjoy.
Not sure if I would consider Fat Joe relevant right now, but Weezy and A$AP will usually help create some buzz … even if it is sounds eerily like Frenchy’s “Pop That” at times. Weezy provides some mainstream appeal to the hook, A$AP and French supply a couple bars. Don’t know where this will land for now, but then again who really cares. This is at least a step up from a couple of 35+ year olds rapping about Instagram. Enjoy.
Ludacris is personally one of my favorite artists and today he drops his fresh new music video for his latest track “Representin” featuring Kelly Rowland. This video has a badass car, dope studio footage and of course the beautiful Kelly Rowland doin her thing to represent. Let us know what you think on Facebook and be on the look out for Ludacris’ next album Ludaversal coming soon. Enjoy.
This is a hilarious video for something every guy is guilty of … randomly creeping on hot girls. Even though the actual song isn’t my favorite from Das Racist, I haven’t thoroughly enjoyed a music video this much in awhile. This Blood Diamond-produced track, “Girl,” appears on their studio LP, Relax, which dropped back in September. If you haven’t already, check out the Xaphoon Jones remix of Michael Jackson, another song off that LP. Enjoy.
