Machine Gun Kelly just recently stopped by the Hands Of God studio at the world famous Fantasy Factory to record a song with Drama Beats for his upcoming Young & Reckless mixtape. The mixtape will be coming soon, check the video for the MGK studio antics.

Space Capone – I Just Wanna Dance (Video)

Space Capone is a local Nashville act, and in a city flooded by music talent, they are one of the best live acts I’ve seen. I recently had the pleasure of seeing them at Mercy Lounge, a fantastic venue in Nashville, where they unexpectedly played a two-part, three and a half hour set. It seemed that every person in the building was at least moving their limbs to the music, while most were dancing their hearts out. Space Capone’s style is a modern take on dance funk with a horn section and a vocalist who has a very large stage, undeniably appealing presence. They know how to keep the crowd moving.

The video above is set to my favorite track on their first record, Transformation, and the title of the song (I Just Wanna Dance) speaks for itself. This song will put you in a damn good mood and make your body start grooving. The footage itself is taken from various footage of people dancing and some shots taken live at a Space Capone show. Unfortunately, they don’t offer any downloads for free, but I thought the track was hype enough to post regardless.

Below are links to their two albums, digitally available to buy on iTunes.

Big Sean’s 5 Reasons Why Being Finally Famous Is Awesome (Video)

The “newly” famous, so to speak, Sean Anderson takes us through some of the perks of being a famous rapper. If you haven’t heard yet, Sean’s debut effort Finally Famous is expected to push numbers  just shy of 100K, which is very impressive for a debut album.

Lupe Fiasco (feat. Trey Songz) – Out Of My Head (Official Video)

Here is the visuals to accompany the third single off Lupe’s latest endeavor, Lasers. I’m not so sure how I feel about Lu’s new desire to grow his hair out, but maybe he’s taking a page out of Jay’s book and letting his hair grow until he perfects F&LII, even though that’s apparently already done. Anywho, enjoy..

Tinie Tempah (feat. Wiz Khalifa) – Till I’m Gone (Official Video)

After a preview a few weeks back, we now have the full version of the video to accompany the Wizzle-assisted single off Tinie’s re-release of Disc-Overy. This song is unbelievably catchy and I’m quite surprised it hasn’t gained more of a following on American radio, but I guess time will tell. I have a strange feeling that we might start seeing Wiz being hired for more and more features as the hook man. Just a thought.. Enjoy..

T.I. – We Don’t Get Down Like Yall (feat. B.o.B.)

A few weeks back, Clifford took to his website to announce that his new single will be unleashed to the world while he is still in the big house. Although there is no definitive answer yet as to whether this is that single he was alluding to, this Bobby Ray collabo certainly sounds single-worthy. Beyond that, Tip is back… A very solid offering from T.I. #FreeTip & Enjoy…

The Dean’s List – Dear Professor (Official Video)

And here it is…

The Dean’s List just let loose the video to accompany the fan favorite track off their very successful release, The Drive-In. This track has slowly become the theme song for this extremely talented trio and it’s no secret as to why. I can’t say I’ve ever thrown eggs at homeless people, but to each his own I guess. Ha. The only thing I’d really question in this video is the choice of Busch Light.. All kidding aside, enjoy..

Michael Cameron – Elevator Music (Mixtape)

First Original Project from Michael Cameron!

… and i’m definitely impressed. Months and months of work went into the creation of Michael Cameron’s first all original mixtape “Elevator Music” and thats very easy to see in the quality of the songs. The first (and only) leak off of the tape “Crash” was featured on GMAD a few weeks ago and got an incredible response… the rest of the tape is even better. This Philadelphia native defines young talent, displaying an unbelievable amount of raw talent and charisma both on and off the track. Check out “Crash” below as well as two of my other favorites from the tape, “Summertime Flow” and “Change of Heart”. You can download the whole tape on Datpiff, it’s sponsored so you won’t need a login. Also – Check out Michael on Facebook & Twitter

Mr. “I Can Make Your Bed Rock,” Lloyd, returns again for a huge vocal perfermance, which will appear on his next album King of Hearts. Also on this song, we have a rare appearance from 3 Stacks, whose verse begins at 2:25. Lil Wayne is involved as a narrator, telling the story of a girl who gave it away to another man.

Overdoz. – Live For, Die For

“She’s never had fun in her life-she wanna get Dested tonight” After a listen to a couple tracks  on the free album “Live For, Die For” by OverDoz., you’ll begin to understand that this remains the theme throughout. Smoking, drinking, girls, partying in general… consistently remaining Dested (the word itself is never specifically defined by the group, but I’m sure you’ll get the drift)

OverDoz. is a group coming out of Los Angeles, and the West Coast influence is there. OverDoz. takes that sound to a different, new age level. Made up of four unique characters who went to high school in Inglewood together, the group includes a great mixture of two great emcee’s who know how to tell a story, Sleezy and Tube, Cream, the groups known comedian (just check out his twitter…) and the soulful singer Kent. The beats all have an airy electronic vibe and great production, and I promise you’ll want to roll up after turning it on (if you don’t have one already rolled). Dom Kennedy appears on a classic vibe track, Counting My Money. DESTED is a great counter to Counting My Money, as it has an upbeat pace and obvious party vibe.  Check them out @OverDoz_ on twitter, and at their site, here.
