Last Saturday night, Milk N Cookies brought their dynamic style of electro and house music to Montauk, New York. A Corona Light sponsored party, the night’s festivities were held 100 miles outside of New York City and at the legendary motel popularized by The Rolling Stones 1976 single, “Memory Motel.”
Set up on the beach, talk of great times ahead spread throughout the quaint town. As word about Milk N Cookies FREE Corona Light party spread, hype for the indoor/outdoor event may have been unparalleled. Arriving shortly after midnight, Milk N Cookies entered the back door greeted by a mob of 20 – 30 years olds who were eager for the night to begin. Pushing their way up to the CDJ decks on stage, the twin brothers from Chicago opened with AO Beats and Hotel Garuda‘s “Rhythm Of The Night remix” by Corona and from that moment forward the crowd didn’t stop dancing all night.
Milk N Cookies transitioned between a lightly prepared set of songs like “Weapon” by Cazzette, “Bola” by GTA, Eminem remixes and of course their crowd pleasing “Fancy remix” by Iggy Azalea. Girls got loose on the bar speakers, and the EDM robot Tron even showed up to CO2 blast the audience, while the rest of bar partied to the easily recallable song selections and thumping bass tunes. The night ultimately did not end until 4AM and for a venue that isn’t a club like Marquee or the Mid, Milk N Cookies put on an unforgettable set all night long for Corona Light and the many patrons that attended.
